Background
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is the UK’s compensation fund of last resort for customers of firms authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
FSCS’s Annual Report and Accounts and Class Statements are companion documents with a related look and feel.
Brief
FSCS wanted to reduce the page count and produce a leaner, more cost-effective document that nevertheless fulfilled its statutory obligations.
Solution
Based on the theme of ‘future growth’, the design featured graphics based on a sequence of leaf-shaped losenges.
Stock photography is used to highlight section starts and break up the narrative.
A short highlights animation was designed to accompany the report.
