I recognise that to my clients, their projects are the most important, so I treat all projects with the same degree of care and attention.
I listen; I think; I create; and I deliver.
At the start of a project, I always reflect the creative brief back to my client, and through the lifecycle of each project (which may be short or long), I seek client feedback at each design stage.
A typical project may go through planning, research, writing, design and layout, artworking, proofreading/testing, and print/publishing stages, but the number of stages and project methodology will be tailored to suit the needs of individual projects.
Quality control is managed using a documented design and artworking process based on PRINCE2 methodology. All projects are planned in stages, with each stage subject to approval and sign-off before commencement of the next stage.
This does not prevent revisions to a project as it progresses, but it does allow a close control on costs and deliverables to time to be maintained.
