Background
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is the UK’s compensation fund of last resort for customers of firms authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
Brief
To improve understanding of the levy on financial firms, FSCS undertook a review of content on their website and re-wrote the explaination of how FSCS is funded.
To accompany the detailed copy, FSCS wanted to add an animated graphic to help illustrate how the levy works.
Solution
A short animation using an animated line to illustrate how FSCS is funded by the financial services industry, and how the levy is worked out.
