The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) planned and funded high quality education and training for everyone in England. In 2007, sponsorship of the LSC transferred from the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) to the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS).
The report needed to address three key stakeholder groups, including the new sponsors, and be written in clear English. It should not look lavish, but needed to be engaging and reflect the LSC corporate brand.
We designed the report in three sections, telling the LSC story, reviewing the year’s activities using case studies, and finishing up with the statutory accounts section.
On our journey we had to guide the design and layout through 17 stakeholder approval stages before final sign-off on the artwork.
