Background
Lambeth is one of 14 local authorities which make up Inner London. The borough is one of the highest performing areas in the country for the attainment of pupils at GCSE.
It is compulsory for all young people to stay in education, training or work through to the age of 18, and Lambeth aims to be at the forefront of change and improvement in education, retaining good relationships between early years providers, schools, further education and the council,
Brief
Design a Parents Guide and a 16–19 Education Guide, to help students and carers understand more about the educational offer available in Lambeth. The booklets should be attractive to parents and young people, and be designed to be both web and print-friendly.
Solution
Two companion booklets sharing a common design, with a bold, bright and friendly look and feel. Images of students representing the diverse population of Lambeth sit on a graphic pathway that illustrates the different ‘educational journeys’ that are possible.
