Background
Lambeth is one of 14 local authorities which make up Inner London.
The Repairs Manual is for Lambeth Council tenants. Whilst Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs) manage most responsive repairs, tenants have a responsibility for the upkeep of anything not provided by the council and for minor repairs.
Brief
Design and layout the Repairs Manual in a clear and engaging way so that tenants understand their rights and responsibilities.
Highlight how to use the Tenants Portal to request a repair, and provide helpful ‘How to’ information for tenants to carry out simple repairs.
Solution
A clean and simple layout in Lambeth’s corporate style enabled the content to be clearly presented, with key points illustrated with user-friendly icons and diagrams.
The interactive PDF, made accessible to WCAG 2.0, features page navigation, QR code links and video explainers.
