The Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) is a global standard developed to help investors and others understand how organisations think about and assess climate-related risks and opportunities.
Brief
In 2022, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) introduced rules for asset managers and asset owners to report in line with the TCFD framework on an annual basis.
M&G required a process designing to automate report production and publishing for each fund under their management.
Solution
Create an M&G branded design template that contains a set of Javascript fields. Then using InDesign Server and a set of logical rules, pull information for each fund from a central database, populate the template, save and export to PDF.
Running 54 ten-page reports takes approximately 10 minutes.
