Background
The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to voluntarily align their operations with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of United Nations goals and issues.
Brief
The design of the UNGC Guide needed to work on two levels; a skim-read for busy General Counsel and a more detailed exposition for C-suite teams.
Solution
I developed a bold look and feel based on the idea of a conversation, featuring graphics, case studies and pull-quotes to break up the text. Full page information graphics and a pull-out summary meant that the Guide could be accessed in a number of ways.
Working closely with the client, I had to track, collate and take in revisions from marked up scripts, PDFs, emails and telephone calls.
